Trombini Group inaugurates  the Falco factory

On October 27, the Gruppo Trombini inaugurated the Falco factory in Pomposa di Codigoro (Ferrara). More than 80 million Euros were invested for the full renovation of the site, 8 to purchase and commission an electrofilter for the elimination of polluting emissions.
During the press conference at the Confindustria offices in Ferrara last October 25, Andrea Trombini, President of the Group, said that “Falco is a historical factory in this territory where we have decided to invest significantly to increase production capacity and environmental protection. This process lasted almost three years; the new plants boost employment, subcontracting and logistic operations in this area.We are very proud of the emission reduction plant, which allows to safeguard the territory and to produce in safe conditions and in compliance with environmental standards.”
As Gianni Gioli, general manager of Group Trombini, explained, the electrofilter is an innovative plant that can reduce particles and emission dramatically. It can operate in continuous cycle with no interruption for maintenance operations, it doesn’t release visible smoke and it allows to preserve the same emission volumes while doubling the production capacity of the factory. At the same time, it avoids the increase of waste generation and water consumption, thanks to a reuse and recycling system.
The wet electrofilter system was supplied by the Austrian company Scheuch, a worldwide leader in the production of air purification systems.
The Falco factory in Pomposa, founded in 1962, is the flower in the buttonhole of the Group. Since 2002, this has become the most modern production unit in Italy in the production of raw and laminated panels for the furniture industry. It employs 130 people plus subsuppliers in the provinces of Ferrara, Ravenna and Rovigo.
The Trombini Group is an industrial company with five production sites in Piedmont (Annovati), Emilia Romagna (Falco and Rafal) and Marche (Raf), specializing in the production of raw, veneered and laminated panels, as well as impregnated paper, resin, furniture edges, with a total staff of 470 employees.
