Change in the board at Weinig

As of 1 June 2008, Walter Fahrenschon (46) shall be the new chairman of the board at Tauberbischofsheim-based Michael Weinig Ag, the world market leader in solid wood processing machines. He comes from the Weinig Group, where he has been employed since 1994. Since 1999, he has been the sole managing director of GreCon Dimter in Illerstissen, Germany. This new addition also signals the departure of Rainer Hunds-dörfer as Chairman of the Board. Mr Hundsdörfer wishes to relocate for personal reasons and take on a new professional challenge outside the world of wood processing.
