Biesse: training courses for employees in the subsidised lay-off

Using the subsidised lay-off scheme as a training and development opportunity for employees. This is the last news from Biesse.
The company has in fact recently presented the project for investment in human resources through training courses organised and financed by the province of Pesaro in support of employees and the company in this crisis period.
Given the stagnation in international markets, production has inevitably slowed. However, the strategic plans of the company must accelerate in order to grasp, at the earliest opportunity, any opportunities of a turnaround”, stated Roberto Selci, chairman of Biesse. “International competition must be met with innovation, both in manufacturing processes and products, and there can be no innovation unless we grow our expertise”.
Therefore, some of the periods of enforced inactivity can be dedicated to the training programmes that the company has decided to implement with the support of the province of Pesaro and Urbino.
The first training programme started with circa 200 employees, belonging to different sectors and areas. Each person attends a 10-hour training course dedicated to “working for processes”. It is aimed at looking beyond each single company function in order to work in a more integrated way.
