After the successful edition of 2010, it is started the 2011 edition of “Klimaenergy Award“, the virtuous challenge between municipalities and provinces across Italy, promoted by Fiera Bolzano and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano. Making the best experiences and most deserving projects in the public domain, showing the potential of a sustainable energy model, emphasizing the key role of local and regional authorities in the dissemination of renewables: these are the goals of “Klimaenergy Award” competition for the best energy project reserved for more efficient Italian municipalities and provinces, now in its fourth edition, and one of the leading initiatives of Klimaenergy, the international exhibition dedicated to renewable energy for commercial and public stage in Bolzano Exhibition 22 to 24 September 2011.
All the municipalities and the Italian provinces may nominate their own projects by next July 31. Participation in the “Klimaenergy Award” is free and open to three categories of Municipalities according to population.
An impartial panel of experts will evaluate the projects presented in a quantitative and qualitative: quantitative criteria regarding the CO2 savings (both in absolute terms and in relative terms, or CO2 per capita), while the qualitative criteria concern the value added, ecological and economic. For each category will be selected the three best projects to be presented at the Klimaenergy final vote and the subsequent award.
The winners will get the plate “Klimaenergy Award 2011” and an incentive to participate, with a stand, the next edition of the fair. The winning projects will also be guaranteed visibility in the national press and will use the winning logo “Klimaenergy-Award 2011” on printed material and on the homepage of its website.
