Stosa Cucine: 2011 closed on the rise

Stosa Cucine, Tuscan brand with nearly 50 years of experience in kitchen production, has closed 2011 with sales growing by 5.5 percent to about 80 million euros. A positive performance, achieved thanks to the performance of the domestic market and to export results as well. In fact, if the orientation of the Italian market has seen sales of approximately Eur 66.7 million with an increase of 2.5 percent the foreign market grows by double digits with a plus 23 percent equal to 13.3 millions, where French and Russians markets contribute more to the result. In addition, also the operating results improved significantly with more than 35 percent due to the good procurement policy achieved.  2011 has been a good year for Stosa Cucine, despite the net profit has marginally been affected by some commercial decisions of an extraordinary nature, such as the interruption of relations with some retailers established with a view to place the product in an appropriate market segment. On the investment front, it must be also reminded the inauguration of the new company showroom and the agreement signed with Grass, the Austrian company leading manufacturer of hinges and sliding systems for the furnishing sector. A significant collaboration to ensure a standard of quality and design increasingly treated for different collections, subject to a price range accessible to consumers.
