Biesse opens its doors to clients and launches innovative technological solutions during the new edition of the BiesseInside open house events.
Biesse, the company from Pesaro which is active in the woodworking and wood, glass and stone processing machinery markets will open its doors to Italian and non-Italian operators as part of BiesseInside, the open door event that will be held in Pesaro from 27 to 29 September 2012.
It will once again be possible this year to observe the operation and the characteristics of new machines, meet our team of expert and participate to guided tours along our production lines.
Among the large number of innovations of this edition detach the numeric control work center “Rover B G” and “UniLine”, a compact multicenter which reflects the company’s aim to reinforce its presence in the windows and doors market both in Italy and in Europe, thus completing its range with highly flexible and productive production solutions designed to satisfy the requirements of smaller craftsmen as much as large industrial clients.
Following the national and international trade fair celebrations, BiesseInside will be an opportunity to introduce to our customer a Group with more than 40 years experience. A long history of successes that have led to a small company established in Pesaro in 1969 and specialised exclusively in the production of multiple-boring machines become one of today’s global leaders in the production of machines and integrated systems for working wood, glass and marble. “We believe that these events are important in strengthening our contact with clients, partners and suppliers, an opportunity to present innovative machines to them and to confirm the solidity and reliability of a Group which has been present on the market for 40 years with innovative solutions and products that set new standards,” stated Roberto Selci, the son of the Founder of Biesse and current Chairman of the company.
BiesseInside will take place in Pesaro on 27, 28 and 29 September, days dedicated to technology for the production of panels but also doors and windows. The “leit-motiv” of BiesseInside 2012 is technical innovation to produce with solutions granting high performance-price ratio but higher quality production. Biesse will present highly innovative solutions and products that allow our customers to reduce costs,
resources and space required for production, improving also internal procedures and processes.
With regard to the machining centers Biesse will present the new “Rover B G”, the new generation debut that render the top performing skills and technologies of Biesse Cnc on the new Gantry structure.
The wide variety of operating units, optimized set-up of the working plan and the different machine base sizes, make this the ideal machine for all types of production including complex parts, oversized parts and unique parts.
The new gantry structure with twin motors provides a dynamic machine at the top-of its class by combining the fluidity of movement with a vector speed up to 120m/min. These features ensure high levels of production and finishing of solid wood and engraving without compromise.
The 200 mm piece passage of the machine, along with the completely independent Z axes, allows for working on chipboard, plywood or solid wood without machining limitations.
In order to ensure an optimum clamping of the pieces, the working surface of the Rover B gantry can be prepared both in manual mode using Biesse’s reliable Ats clamping modules, or using the Eps planes (Electronic positioning system), which can be automatically positioned by the numerical control. The later option has the ability to reconfigure the entire work area in a few seconds to avoid manual intervention to manage off-cuts of large dimensions.
Furthermore, using the system and additional Cft modules, the machine can perform all typical flat table operations including folding or nesting.
In the design of the Rover G Gantry Biesse has paid particular attention to the cleaning of the machine, always considered synonymous with quality and reliability.
Biesse completes its total flexibility Multicentre solutions range with the new model “UniLine”. The Multicenter opened an era and defined a new paradigm for modern manufacturing processes. Thanks to the Multicenter, now available in various models to match the different levels of production capacity, Biesse is now the market leader.
“UniLine” is the new compact version of Biesse Multicenter: it occupies only 30 sqm, including automatic loading/unloading system and tool holder stores to have all necessary tools on board.(It takes less space than a small angular system).
“UniLine” performs all the operations “with locked piece” in the most logical sequence to ensure, at the same time, the best tool performance and high efficiency of the production process. It works “without operator supervision” with a new method, patented, the operator must provide only to load the pieces on the loading system: 2-3 minutes are enough for over an hour of production.
The pick-up and placement of the components in the clamping devices are fully automatic, as well as the removal of finished components and their deposit onto the unloading system. While UniLine produces, the operator can concentrate on other operations such as cutting, planing, assembly, quality control and even leave his working place without loss of efficiency!
Producing “without operator supervision” in addition to reducing processing costs, allows to extend the working time of the machine and increase its daily production capacity to over 30 percent.
In designing “Uniline” special attention was paid to safety, to the simplification of the man-machine relationship and to the environmental compatibility.
The safety cabin is 360°, very well-designed, has transparent shatterproof Lexan panels for complete visibility of the process and thanks to an original Biesse system, UniLine allows the operator a continuous machine control through the colored bands that indicate the status and phase of the process.
To minimize the environmental impact and make the place of work more comfortable, new solutions have been adopted for the widespread use of recyclable materials, reduction of energy consumption with better performance, the containment of the noise level with active interventions; and a further improvement of the recovery system of chips and dust, as an advantage for operator comfort and the environment.
With regards to the edgebanding solutions clients will see the range of edgebading machining center to work shape panels Rover Edge Series and the single side edgebanders “Stream”, “Roxyl” and “Akron Series”, among them “Akron 1300” will be equipped with automatic devices for the change of job controlled by Nc. On the “Stream B1” in line edgebanding machine we installed the innovative Mds module that allows flexible squaring and measuring of panels.
During BiesseInside clients will assist to edge working using the innovative technology laser solution which grants aesthetical results with comparisons.
At the BiesseInside innovations do not end here: operators will be able to see the complete range of Biesse Work centers equipped to process doors & windows such as “Rover C Wms”(Windows manufacturing system), in operation, the first highly flexible work cell, specifically designed for the processing of standard and specialised window, but also the numeric controlled machining center to work panels “Rover C Series” and“Klever”.
As far as concern solutions for flexible drilling we will present the “Eko” and “Skipper”, machines extremely flexible and fully configurable depending on customer needs.
They allow the processing of panels with very wide dimensional range with no set-up time going from one format to the next.
Compactness and versatility are the key of success for those models.
About sizing process we will have demonstrations on single side beam saw “Wn 7 Series” in its current most complete and innovative format “Wntr 730 Twin Pusher” and on the latest panel saw “Sektor 4 Series”, an entry level machines with top of the range performance. On the latter machine we recently introduced the twin pusher, a new device for inclined cuts (patented) and the lift table to complete its equipment to satisfy every production need.
During the event in our production plants visitors will be able to see a flexible sizing plant ideal for customers who need batch one production and at the same time want to have high production volumes. This solution can manage simultaneously a nesting and a traditional sizing process.
