“All in all, a positive result for the 2020 edition of Zow, which took place in Bad Salzuflen from 4 to 6 February last”. Thus began the final press release of the exhibition acquired by Koelnmesse dedicated to supplies for the furniture industry.
The event has taken an innovative path, placing itself as a “business event” that looks not only at the presentation of products, but intends to offer itself as a place of discussion on innovation, on trends, on the possibilities that the furniture industry of the near future could take it.
A message positively welcomed by the 2,600 visitors counted on the second day, visitors who lived the first days of the fair having the opportunity to have a quality relationship with the exhibitors.
“A positive balance, after all,” said Thomas Rosolia, Ceo of Koelnmesse Italia. “At Zow a new dimension is experienced, in which visitors and exhibitors can dialogue with different rhythms and times. An agile format, which lies between the traditional exhibition center and a more modern business event, and is aimed at a very well-identified user base, in that region of Germany and Northern Europe where furniture production has an important economic value”.
In other words, a fair aimed at a specific audience, with clear objectives and the desire to propose an extremely concrete formula, thanks to which exhibitors and visitors can concentrate on their business.
“It is clear that we have not yet reached the goal we have set ourselves – added Matthias Pollmann, vice president of Koelnmesse Gmbh – but the quality of the visitors who arrived in Bad Salzuflen was very high and the concreteness of the comparison with the exhibitors was clear. There is a strong potential to develop around this event: we organizers know this very well and the exhibitors know it very well, many of whom have reconfirmed the appointment for the next edition, from 8 to 10 February 2022″.
