In the past few weeks, Francesco Nerli, partner – with his cousins Gianpaolo and Giorgio – of the company of the same name in Ponsacco, specialized in the production of high quality sanders, has passed away.
Born in 1950, on Saturday 12 September he passed away after a long illness. He leaves a great void in the great Nerli family and in the many who in the world of wood and furniture have had the opportunity to know his personality, his professionalism, that profound competence for everything related to the world of sanding that came from a great experience and an innate ability to juggle the world of mechanics.
Graduated from a mechanical industrial expert, he immediately ventured into the family business, bringing with him all the passion of a highly skilled technician, a skill and a vision that has materialized over the years in many of the systems, solutions and aggregates which were then covered by patents.
A person that everyone remembers for his straightforward simplicity and correctness, Francesco Nerli left surrounded by the memory and affection of the many friends and customers he had “conquered” during his life: profound connoisseur of the secrets of mechanics, of pneumatics and electronics, at Nerli he had always dealt with production, participating in the entire processing cycle, from design to the last turn of the screwdriver. He is responsible, in particular, for the difficult phase of managing and carrying out the rigorous tests to which Nerli sanders are always subjected, an activity – the latter – which has allowed him to make himself known and appreciated by the customers of his company in all the world.
His experience, his values, his knowledge will not be lost, because for some time now he had been joined by his nephew Ciro, an exponent of the fourth generation Nerli, who will have the task of collecting this precious witness …
