Catas: December 10th “Testing the Experience”

A virtual tour that will not only show the workplaces and the equipment of the laboratories of San Giovanni al Natisone (Udine, Italy) and Lissone (Monza Brianza, Italy), but will also allow to communicate with the Catas technicians and operators who will answer live, through a dedicated chat, questions and curiosities of those who will be connected with us.

Catas: “Testing the Experience”

This is the answer of Catas, the most important European laboratory for the wood-furniture sector, to the impossibility to host visitors due to the limitations imposed by the “Covid-19” pandemic. “We are used to welcoming hundreds of people in our laboratories – says the head director Andrea Giavonand very often these are companies and groups that come to Catas from all over the world, customers but also partners who desire to work with us and above all would like to directly see who and what we are, what we can offer.

For some time – hopefully very short – all this will not be possible and consequently we have started to consider the idea of opening the Catas doors “online”, with images and dialogues in English language. Thanks to this event we can show how we are organized; with which technologies we are equipped to carry out our tests in a reliable and fast way. Moreover: our “Testing the experience”, this is the title we have chosen for our web event, commits all of us to tell what is the state-of-the-art in terms of standards, certifications, test methodologies for the many sectors in which we are engaged”.

A real journey into the Catas laboratories, guided by Franco Bulian, deputy director of the institute, who will meet the people who work there, the true heritage of this Italian reality, inviting them to talk about their work and to share their skills.

The appointment is for Thursday 10th December at 10 AM CEST.
