The first “technibar” organized by Acimall – the association of Italian manufacturers of woodworking technologies and furniture industry – in collaboration with Catas, the European testing and certification laboratory for the sector, took place on 13 July with good results, sponsored by Xylexpo with Xylon as media-partner . In a “phygital” version and streamed directly from Acimall studios, the seminar was the first of a long series of in-depth studies on the sector.
This first event had as its main theme the lamellar profile in the production of windows and doors and saw as speakers – in addition to the director of Acimall, Dario Corbetta and Catas director Franco Bulian – Gianni Ghizzoni of Omga Dierregi, who analyzed the production process of the lamellar profile in a timely manner, Fabio Chiozza, product manager of the Adhesives Line of Vinavil, the well-known Italian brand, and Umberto Pizzi, owner of Pizzi by Pgs, who dealt with the issue of the application of adhesives for the lamellar profile, respectively from the point of view of “the glue ”and the application of the adhesive.
Not only, among the speakers there were also Cristian Locati of Ormamacchine, who described the press and its elements at 360 degrees, Simone Poletto, Catas‘s head of tests for the wood sector, who focused his attention on regulations and certifications, and Stefano Frignani, of Kosmosoft Engineering, which showed the advantages of business organization and software in a concept of “carpentry 4.0”.
