Xylexpo, the biennial trade fair dedicated to the world of woodworking machinery scheduled from 12 to 15 October 2022 is at the starting line, towards what promises to be a fundamental milestone for the entire sector after the “forced stop” due to the consequences deriving from the health emergency.
“We are really happy to finally be able to start again. In the next few days, registrations will open which up to 31 December provide for an early bird discounted rate particularly favorable to exhibitors”, said the director of Xylexpo, Dario Corbetta. “This is a very important signal for the sector: life is starting again and we are finally returning to our habits. Xylexpo has accompanied the sector for over 50 years and has always been a point of reference with the only aim of promoting knowledge of woodworking technology in the best possible way. We are sure that the next edition will not be outdone, on the contrary: Xylexpo 2022 will be a fundamental crossroads for the entire sector“.
“After all – continues the director of Xylexpo – Xylexpo 2022 will represent all the technologies for woodworking, from the initial processing to the surface finishing, in the heart of what is the main market for the sector, Italy, Europe and the entire Mediterranean basin: all the main players will be present and will bring the innovations and technologies that will distinguish the trends of the following two years“.
Not only technological innovations, but also a new partnership with Bi-Mu, the biennial fair for metalworking machines. “We are sure – underlines Dario Corbetta – that this “twinning” with Bi-Mu can offer visitors and our exhibitors an even broader point of view on the scenarios of the near future and on the fourth industrial revolution, Industry 4.0 towards which travels faster and faster“.
“We are aware that the sector expects a lot from the next edition of Xylexpo”, he reiterated. “After all, throughout this two-year period we have felt the confidence of the companies that, having canceled the 2020 edition, confirmed their participation in 2022 well in advance, even when everything, due to the pandemic, was marked by uncertainty. Let’s start with an already consolidated area of 10,000 net exhibition square meters with over 100 exhibitors. A result and a confidence that push us to work with attention and desire to do day after day“.
“In addition – concludes Dario Corbetta – the approach to the next Xylexpo will be marked by many in-depth appointments dedicated to the sector. A dense roadmap that will allow us to focus on the hot topics of the next two years and will result in a rich calendar of conferences at the fair, to complement all the news that will be exhibited by the companies. Xylexpo 2022 will be an all-round event, the starting point of the cycle of technological innovation that will characterize the next two years“.
