Choosing the drying kiln that is reliable, performing and tailored to customer’s needs is not easy at all, there are many aspects: technological and more, to be taken into consideration.
Secal’s research and development office is constantly dedicated to the development of new software and solutions to make the systems more and more performing.
The electronics for the management and control of the drying process features some exclusive software developed by Secal, taking advantage of the feedback received from customers in various parts of the world.
Among the various optional software how not to mention the “Air dynamic flow system“, a “management” of the air flows, which provides alternation of ventilation cycles with pause cycles in order to manage the humidity gradient between the heart and surface of the board and thus facilitate the correct escape of humidity, without creating tension.
The interactive psychrometric diagram allows the customer to generate a drying program by obtaining the data directly, and in visual form, from a special graph, moving the temperature and Emc coordinates until the ideal curve is obtained.
For extremely cold climates, the antifreeze protection of the heat exchangers is managed by the antifreeze software which provides for the management of ventilation and heating according to the temperature detected by special probes installed on the hot water delivery pipe and on the heat exchangers.
In the Secal Drying kilns, every single component is designed and developed specifically for the production of high-performance and long-lasting systems that give added value to our precious wood!
The production range includes conventional drying kilns with capacities from 20m3 to 200m3/cycle, kilns for the evaporation of wood, pre-dryers, chambers for phytosanitary treatment and for drying firewood, as well as “turnkey” solutions.
