About 20 students from Situm, the school of technological, humanistic and managerial innovation, visited the plant of Hsd – specialized in the manufacture of electrospindles – to learn more about sustainability and engineering 4.0.
The visit was an ‘opportunity to present to the young students the reality of Hsd and tell how the company invests daily in the new frontiers of engineering and industry 4.0, through participation in national projects such as Electrospindle 4.0, in collaboration with the National Cluster Intelligent Factory (CFI), and the development of the IoT platform, MyHSD: both aimed at achieving the goals of greater efficiency and quality through technologically advanced and zero-defect production processes.
“We are honored to be able to collaborate with the University of Perugia, the Polytechnic University of Marche and the University of L’Aquila to provide our contribution in this laudable educational project, which by connecting the entrepreneurial fabric of the Umbria-Abruzzo-Marchigiano territory to the university academic world, generates a fruitful and valuable exchange of knowledge and skills among students, professors, entrepreneurs, managers and young professionals“, said Fabrizio Pierini, HSD general manager.
