As of 1 January 2024, Marco Schweizer will take over the operational management of Lamello, the Swiss company specialising in wood joining and wood technology. He will take over from Susanne Affolter, who will continue to chair the board of directors and define the strategic directions of the well-known company.
“People are at the centre, always,” Schweizer explained. “This applies to relations between all employees at Lamello as well as to our valuable business and customer relationships. We want to cultivate and expand these relationships together in order to be able to develop pragmatic, state-of-the-art solutions for our customers in the future as well.”
Susanne Affolter, granddaughter of Lamello’s founder, is therefore changing roles and will step down as managing director of the group with effect from 31 December 2023.
