Incomac, an Italian company specializing in drying equipment, has published its first sustainability report. “A document that not only celebrates the milestones we have achieved over our nearly 50 years in business, but also serves as a testimony to our ongoing commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. An important point of arrival, but more importantly a starting point to continue to improve and undertake new activities”, the company commented in the press release issued on the occasion of the publication.
“In an increasingly challenging global context, we have chosen to align our business model with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the implementation of innovative technologies and low-impact production processes, we are committed to minimizing our emissions and ensuring the quality and safety of our products”.
The Sustainability Report 2023 provides a detailed overview of the initiatives undertaken; from plant reconditioning systems, to adopting energy efficiency practices that save resources and reduce consumption. “A way of doing and being a business, one inspired by social and civil responsibility, which has led us to the choice of becoming a Benefit Company by 2025, to write on paper a concrete commitment, choosing to become one of the Italian companies that “in carrying out an economic activity, in addition to the purpose of dividing its profits, pursue one or more purposes of common benefit and operate in a responsible, sustainable and transparent way […]” (Law No. 208/2015, Art. 1, co. 376)”.
