Progetto Fuoco 2026: new date in Verona

The 15th edition of Progetto Fuoco, the biennial trade fair held at Veronafiere dedicated to wood biomass heating, has changed its date. The event, originally scheduled from February 18 to 21, 2026, will now take place from February 25 to 28, 2026, to avoid overlap with the closing ceremony of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympic Games, scheduled for February 22 in Verona.

The Olympic event will bring a significant influx of people to the city, with hundreds of delegations and spectators, and will involve special security measures that could cause logistical issues. Adolfo Rebughini, general director of Veronafiere, emphasized the importance of ensuring an optimal experience for exhibitors and operators, moving the fair to avoid any issues related to traffic, logistics, and services.

A first step toward the 2026 edition will be the National Forum on Wood Energy, scheduled for March 28, 2025, at Veronafiere, where policies and actions for the future of renewable thermal energy will be discussed.
