Tsubaki Kabelschlepp received certification for its ISO 14001 environmental management system, initially applied to its Wenden-Gerlingen site and set to be extended to other group locations throughout the year.
The adoption of ISO 14001, initiated in 2023, represents a strategic step towards corporate sustainability, providing a clear framework and a solid structure for environmental initiatives. This standard is globally recognized as an independent quality mark.
The certification is an integral part of the strategy of parent company TSUBAKIMOTO, which aims to rank among the top 500 companies worldwide in sustainability through the Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative. This sets ambitious goals for the entire group.
“With the DIN EN ISO 14001 certification, we are wrapping all our sustainability efforts together,” states Thorsten Hamann, environmental and energy manager at TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP. “We are consolidating environmental management, sustainability efforts, and group requirements into a clear and structured form, laying the foundation for further improvements.”
A sustainable service with the ProService initiative
Sustainability also requires efficient service. The TSUBAKI group has launched the global ProService initiative, ensuring a sustainable approach to customer support. The program is structured into six modules: maintenance training, safety, on-site inspection, analysis, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Through this approach, customers benefit from global flexibility, tailored technical support, and direct access to necessary spare parts, ensuring optimal system performance.
