Sicam 2011: along the road to new success

“I must admit that we are frankly amazed about the numbers of registrations we are receiving for the next edition of Sicam”. These are the words of Carlo Giobbi seven months before the opening of the gates on the 2011 edition. “The registrations, which were already numerous before the 2010 edition finished up, are continuing ceaselessly and, at today’s date, we have already allocated over 85 percent of the space available to more than 450 exhibitors”.
So, a decidedly positive trend for the third edition which is getting ready to repeat the results of last October, when Pordenone saw 530 companies (a quarter from outside Italy) and 18 thousand visitors, 26 percent from abroad.
From 19^th to 22^nd October 2011, Sicam will have the opportunity to clinch the role it has conquered in the global trade fair calendar, despite the still uncertain economic season. “The excellent trend in participation requests, despite the economic situation that is still far from stimulating,” commented Giobbi, “convinces us that Sicam is a solid reference, an annual meeting point for the entire furniture manufacturing sector. And I am delighted to say that, in addition to the many companies which reconfirmed their presence some time ago, lots of new companies have also registered. This means that I can safely say that in 2011 at Pordenone there will be a fully complete display of everything that the furniture industry needs!”.
This result is the product of strong, on-going promotional work in all the trade fairs around the world: after presences at Medex (Teheran, Iran), Delhiwood (New Delhi, India), Euroshop (Düsseldorf, Germany), and Mtkt (Kiev, the Ukraine), in the coming weeks Sicam will be showing at Technomebel in Sofia(22^nd – 26^th March), in Brazil at Fimma in Bento Goncalves (21^st – 25^th March), and Furnica (Poznan, 29^th March-1^st April).
At Fimma Brazil, there will be a lounge alongside the stand; an area to facilitate business meetings and ensure well-needed moments of relax in an environment reserved for partners of the B2B event.
