De Ponti general manager of FederlegnoArredo

Met in Milan the first board of directors of FederlegnoArredo, after the appointment of president Roberto Snaidero on 6 June, to discuss the project on the agenda for the organization of the Federation for the next three years, which sees in the foreground the value of services associated enterprises, policies to promote international development through its subsidiaries, the exhibition business and the increase in the number of members, for which the Federation and individual associations are engaged in lobbying and representation at the Italian and foreign institutions.
The Board also approved the appointment of Giovanni De Ponti − former Ceo of the company FederlegnoArredo − as general manager of the Federation. Giovanni De Ponti, 46, originally from Milan, graduating in economics at the Cattolica University, married to Camilla and two children, entered the building of Foro Buonaparte in 1996, after experience in the field of corporate finance, tourism and services.
Since 2009 he has joined with the title of co-director, Roberto De Martin, who will remain in the Federation providing consulting on some specific areas.
The Board and the president Snaidero, applauded the entrance of the new director and thanked Roberto De Martin for his work in recent years with special dedication, expertise, also by virtue of its long militancy in the system of Confindustria, and for the well-known human qualities of sensitivity and attention to personal relationships.
