Success for International timber fair and Holz&Bau in Klagenfurt

Organizer Kärntner Messen is delighted to report the major success of “Internationale Holzmesse” and “Holz&Bau”, the two trade exhibitions dedicated to forestry, sawmill engineering, transportation, timber construction and bioenergy that ended last Sunday: over 22,000 specialist visitors attended the event during the four days of the exhibition and every third visitor came from abroad. The 462 exhibitors from 22 nations reported excellent business contacts.
“The 52^nd International Timber Fair“ lived up to its excellent reputation as the leading event in Central and Southeast Europe, and the new Holz&Bau trade show had a highly successful launch“, President of Klagenfurt Exhibitions Albert Gunzer and Ceo Erich Hallegger reported. They were delighted by the success of this year’s forestry and timber trade shows held in Klagenfurt from 30 August to 2 September. The Trade Association of the Austrian Timber Industry and representatives from timber and construction trade also underlined the high quality of the exhibitors and expressed their intention to strengthen the long standing good partnership with the International timber fair further. Christoph Kulterer, Chairman of the Austrian Sawmill Industry said: “We will do everything to strengthen the position of the International timber fair as an international platform for our industry“.
