Over 280 Italian exhibitors at Ligna 2013

Once again, Italy will have the largest foreign delegation at Ligna, the biennial exhibition of wood and wood-based materials technology, to be held in Hanover, Germany, from 6 to 10 May.

This is a major event for the Italian industry, even more now that its success largely depends on export, accounting for over 90 percent of production for most companies. And Ligna, a technology review that gathers industry actors from all around the world, will be even more important this year, allowing the representatives of made-in-Italy wood technology to present their latest creations to the world and to introduce the solutions they have developed for such a peculiar economic season.

While there will be machines designed to deliver excellent results with affordable investments, we will also see plants conceived for high productivity, combined with full flexibility, batch-one production lines where Italians also have a lot to say… And on top of it all, a stronger and stronger focus on software, a real “interpreter” that enables users to interact with machinery, from simple equipment to sophisticated and complex plants, easily and directly, often with just few strokes on the icons of a touch screen.

Big groups, small and medium businesses, specialists of tailor-made high technology: Italy is coming out to Hanover in force, ready to seize each and every opportunity.

Acimall – the Confindustria member association representing the Italian wood and wood-based materials technology industry – is also attending the event with its own area (hall 17, stand A52), to provide information and documentation to visitors, exhibitors, opinion leaders and press.
