Doors and windows: second meeting

The 2nd Italian meeting of the doors and windows industry is going to be more innovative compared to the first edition.
First of all, the meeting will be taking place in Milan and in Rome: in Milan at Hotel Michelangelo – 19th June 2008 – and in Rome at the Rome Trade Fair Center – 14th November 2008 – within ExpoEdilizia 2008 from 13th to 16th November.
The day will be divided into two parts, dedicated to production and distribution as the two main aggregating stages of the industry. Closely related subjects will be discussed, with targeted discussions and insights, addressing manufacturers in the morning and resellers in the afternoon.
The morning and afternoon sessions will be opened by a detailed analysis of the major market trends. Presentations will be made on current laws and standards – from the rewriting of the Construction Products Directive (CPD) to energy efficiency, to the Consumers Code. The topics include concept design, considered as the innovation engine for production as well as an added value element for marketing and sales. This added value is also found in reseller training and the use of the latest techniques for product display. At the end of the day, a public round table is scheduled so that manufacturers and distributors can discuss about the topics of the day.
The 2nd meeting of the doors and windows industry is a new important commitment by the building and construction division of the Italian publishing company Tecniche Nuove, and in particular for their magazines Serramenti+Design and Commercio Porte & Finestre.
This project will lead to the identification of production, sales and marketing strategies for all actors in the doors and windows industry.
