Emo Milano 2021, dedicated to the world of metalworking, which took place at the fieramilano Rho exhibition center, ended on Saturday 9 October. Promoted by Cecimo, the European association of machine tool industries, and organized by the operational structures of Ucimu-Sistemi per Produrre, the association of Italian machine tool, robot and automation manufacturers, Emo Milano recorded more than 60,000 visitors from 91 villages.
Despite the mobility restrictions still in force, Emo Milano confirmed, also on this occasion, its international character. Against a presence of foreign exhibitors equal to 60 percent of the total, foreign visitors accounted for 30 percent of the total number.
The wide offer on display, representing all the segments that make up the sector, expression of the production of over 700 companies exhibited in the 6 pavilions completely set up for the event, for 100 thousand square meters of total exhibition area, was of absolute appeal. for operators in the global manufacturing industry.
Among the foreign visitors present are also included the over 30 qualified foreign operators of the missions organized by Ucimu-Sistemi to produce in collaboration with Maeci and Ice-Agenzia, in addition to 30 from the autonomous delegation from Turkey. The matching activity took the form of 1,200 meetings set at the stands of the exhibitors who joined the initiative.
In addition to registering the interest of users, Emo Milano 2021 attracted the attention of the international press: about 400 accredited journalists, 40 percent of whom from abroad.
The novelty of Emo Milano 2021 was Speakers Corner, the arena set up in Pavilion 5 which offered over 80 speeches and insights by exhibitors and organizers. There were over 2 thousand attendance at the meetings. To these are added the approximately 3 thousand users connected remotely (for an average of 500 per day) who, in the six days, were able to follow the events hosted at the fair thanks to the live streaming service.
