Bacci’s evolution…

The spring 2023 will be rich of news (or better, renovation) for Bacci, the Italian company based in Pisa, specializing in numerical control working centers.
Two machines for solid wood parts turning will be presented in May in an “advanced” version: “T4mo cnc plus” and “Icon double 4 axis”. “In their original versions, both machines have been known for a few years now and appreciated, and even awarded in the case of “T4mo cnc” (2022 Challangers Award at the American exhibition Iwf)”, company officials told us.

Bacci’s vocation to technological evolution has driven our engineers not to be happy with the results achieved. Such drive has resulted into two interesting developments for the market of solid wood parts turning”.

As to “T4mo cnc plus”, the four vertically aligned cutters have been complemented with a four-axis power spindle with dual output, capable of executing all the required operations. “With this machine, we want to take the production of chair and furniture parts, rifle stocks, tool handles, hangers, sports equipment and musical instruments to the next level”.

The new release of “Icon”, called “Icon double 4 axis”, with patent-pending double turning axis, complements the spindle of the previous model with an additional four-axis spindle, plus a 12-position toolchanger. With this configuration, the operations executed by the power spindles can machine two parts simultaneously, increasing the daily productivity.
In May, Bacci is also introducing more technological innovations for the door market, offering more and more advanced integration between machining centers and automation.
