Biesse: another success at Iwf 2016

Biesse is excited to announce IWF 2016, held in Atlanta Georgia from August 24th to August 27th, was the most successful show to date for Biesse America and Biesse Canada! Attendees from over 1,000 companies visited Biesse’s booth to see demonstrations on the industry’s most innovative technology. Recognizing the lean and value-oriented needs of today’s market, we showcased over 17,000sqft of machinery focused on flexibility, productivity, and lowering operating costs, demonstrating how anyone can seize the rich opportunities offered by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Biesse proudly announced also the winning of the prestigious and esteemed Challengers Award® with Viet “Opera R” robotic sanding machine for innovative new technology. The “Opera R” presents the only automated solution for sanding of Mdf doors with flat center panel, as well as removal of cross grain scratching of solidwood doors. A panel of 8 expert judges, all industry professionals representing a broad cross-section of the industry, reviewed and analyzed each entry. On Tuesday, the finalists performed live demonstrations for the panel of judges, who then made their final decisions on the most innovative product developments.

IWF 2016 exceeded our expectations and was once again a record breaking show for Biesse America and Biesse Canada,” said Federico Broccoli, Biesse Group Subsidiaries Division Director and President/Ceo of Biesse America and Canada. “18 million dollars of signed orders received in 4 days is a tangible sign of the North American market strength and the confidence our Customers have in Biesse’s latest technologies. We are continuing to increase sales in North America with double digit growth, improving market share and Customer satisfaction. Our important investments, such as our new Charlotte Campus state of the art showroom, are evident signs of faith and trust in the North American market, which now makes up 20% of global sales. Our vision is to continue to support our two subsidiaries in North America, with unaltered focus and investments to maintain exceptional Customer support and increase market share.”

IWF 2016 also gave Biesse Group an opportunity to give back to the community. We continued our strong, unwavering support of the Make-A-Wish® foundation and once again donated $100 for each machine sold at the show. We were honored to host over 500 people at our VIP Party to present a check for $6,000 to Make-A-Wish as a portion of the anticipated amount of donations and contributions expected. For the IWF 2016 Make-A-Wish contributions for machines sold at the show, the total amount is $13,700, an exponential increase from the contributions from 2015 AWFS Show of $9,000.
