Italian Drying Group (IDG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Montebelluna-based Incomac, has announced the acquisition of Nardi, a well-known brand specialising in the production of wood drying equipment.
Leading the operation was Livio Torresan, owner of Incomac together with partner Gino Santin, assisted by Studio Partes, an advisor specialised in corporate and financial transactions. “We could not let such valuable know-how risk being lost,” explained Torresan. “That is why we focused on acquiring the intangible assets, made up of intangible resources and specific skills, which we intend to relaunch together with a brand that represents a guarantee of absolute quality.“
IDG is acquiring Nardi after having already finalised an industrial plan to relaunch the brand, which intends to replicate the model successfully tested at Incomac: a strong propensity for process and product innovation in the field of wood drying, with the aim of achieving revenues in excess of 20 million euros in the medium term.
