Exhibitions and events are always an important step in every company’s globalization processes. Given to the constant presence in all of the most important supply chain events, Salvador is preparing to end another year of significant growth rates.
“For 2016 we are again talking about a double-digit growth: a few more weeks and we will have the preliminary data, but everything indicates that these twelve months shall add to the positive series”. Christian Salvador, as Sales Manager, has no doubts: the wind has changed; the atmosphere is certainly more relaxed. “Another reason not to stop and continue to offer our technologies wherever we and our partners, through which we now operate across the world, see an opportunity”. By this specific strategy, the full calendar of events of the second half of this year, provided opportunities that have allowed the Italian company, leader in woodcutting and optimization solutions, to strengthen its presence and recognition on many markets. A journey that began in Brazil, during the San Paolo Formobile in late July: a country that is certainly not experiencing its best economic period, but it has always been in the Salvador “top ten” “target countries”, due to the constant work of “Salvador do Brazil”. Orders that have been set at the fair and during the following weeks and contacts established prove that today there are signs of a turnaround in Brazil, as well. From South America to the United States, at the IWF in Atlanta where – from August 24 to August 27 – many operators have showed interest in the “Supercut 500” and the “Superpush 200”. It is not a coincidence: Canada and the United States are markets interested in the technological developments for woodcutting industry, a segment in which Salvador has undoubtedly a lot to say. In early September in Austria, during the Internationale Holzmesse in Klagenfurt, new incentives from unexpected markets have emerged. A similar situation also happed in Sweden, in Gothenburg and Drema in Poznan, Poland, the latter a market where Salvador obtained satisfying results for a long time now. Romania proves to be as well a real market and more and more attractive to foreign investors, who find here competent labor force at more competitive costs, in addition to high quality raw material. The Bife in Bucharest was another important part of the Salvador strategy for the near future: “We are convinced that the turmoil that we have seen and observed for some time is the promise that in the near future this part of Europe will be able to play very interesting matches”, said Christian Salvador. In late September we headed to Minsk, Belarus, simultaneously we were to Slovakia and, after a week, during the W16 in Birmingham, United Kingdom; three events where – as for all events in which the Italian company had participated – orders were placed. The same happened in Lesdrevmash Moscow, in Russia, definitely a positive review, where the “willingness to invest” and to leave a troubled period behind, altough not yet concluded, was noticed. “It seems hardly possible but in almost every fair we have sold, concluded contracts, consolidated reports and met new potential clients and partners. It happened everywhere, even in markets “closed” for some time, that have surprised us by rewarding our choice to always be present at our best, to expose our machines, to show what we know and wish to do even when the economic trend would push us in the direction of much less expensive choices”, said Salvador. “However, if there is a key to interpret our growth I think it is this continuous investment, continuous movement and embracement of all human, technical and commercial challenges”. An increasingly global commitment and the will to decisively end in a positive way another year of business and meetings, new relations, discussions and solutions for the needs of those who want to cut wood and also their labour costs…
