Digitisation and digital transformation are now also key themes for the woodworking sector, for issues of sustainability, process optimisation and production potential from data analysis. And precisely on the subject of digital transformation, the two Italian companies FasThink – a system integrator specialising in innovative technologies and solutions for improving processes in logistics and manufacturing – and Dm Management&Consulting – a company in the Txt e-solution group, active in the development of innovative mes/mom systems for factory management – have entered into a partnership that aims to integrate solutions for the management and collection of data from production and storage plants.
“The evolution of technologies related to digital transformation is leading to increasingly stricter integration between MES/MOM solutions such as the dmp suite and IoT solutions, laying the foundations for a smart factory”, commented Stefano Massari, executive sales account. “Dm has been offering the dmp suite for over 10 years for factory management, collecting real-time data on performance, maintenance and process status, analysing this data to identify inefficiencies, predict failures and optimise production. The interaction with Fasthink will allow us to expand the proactive nature of our dmp suite, integrating technologies and consultancy specialising in IoT applications”.
“We decided to collaborate with Dm Management&Consulting because we appreciate their consultative-design approach. We share the idea of a business development that allows us to propose complementary solutions to make the factory increasingly smart and performing in line with the new Industry 4.0 paradigm” explained Marco Marella, general manager of FasThink.
