New investments for Stark

Following rumors about the situation of Stark, the well-known Italian tool manufacturer, we have received and are publishing a communication from the company based in Friuli.
“Stark Spa is part of the J Holding group, which manages a network of 9 operational companies in Italy, France, Germany, Spain, the United States, and China, employing a total of approximately 213 people.
In 2023, the group closed its consolidated financial statements with a turnover of 46 million euros and an Ebitda of 9 million euros.
Despite the challenges posed by the expected decline in global demand for 2024 and at least the early months of 2025, the group is taking a proactive approach. An ambitious technological investment plan is being launched, involving several production facilities. With a budget ranging between €5 and €6 million, the project aims at production diversification and the introduction of new applications, particularly in the field of cutting and processing wood and derivative materials.
Specifically, €1.5 million has been allocated to Stark Spa for its woodworking tools division. The investments are intended to strengthen the company’s competitiveness by expanding its technological offerings and developing innovative solutions capable of meeting the needs of a constantly evolving market. Initiatives include the introduction of new production processes and the optimization of existing lines, with the goal of increasing efficiency and improving product quality.
